3-5 years old (LLC students only)
The Lighthouse Recreation Center beginners ballet introduction program offers affordable, fun and quality instruction for little dancers ages 3 to 5 years old to develop and build physical and motor gross skills with the introduction to dance movements and music, all while having a lot of fun. As a beginners class, the goal is to provide little learners with a safe and friendly environment where they can express themselves using their bodies, be introduced to dance skills and practice social interaction skills.
Requirement : Be a LLC student.
Dress code (two last classes)
Attire: Leotard or tank top, and leggings.
Shoes: Full sole leather ballet shoes.
Hair: Pulled back in a ponytail or a bun.

• The cost of this course is $110 for the spring semester.
• New students must pay a one-time registration fee of $15.

Each student will have their own keyboard to play in class and a great workbook that is purchased during registration. With the workbook, students and parents will also get access to a phone app that will assist them with practicing after class.
We believe students learn better in an interactive setting and when they have the opportunity to create satisfying musical experiences. The focus is not on musical theory specifically, but on teaching the basics of music and piano technique in an engaging way. The goal is to get the students to play full worship songs using chord charts by the end of the semester, as they learn to play music with others in a group setting.

The Lighthouse Recreation Center kids soccer program offers affordable, fun and quality instruction for players of all skill levels. As a recreational class, the goal is to provide kids with a safe place where they can learn and develop their soccer skills.
Necessary equipment: Jersey or t-shirt, shorts or sweatpants, shin guards, socks and proper shoes. Indoor soccer shoes are not required, but strongly suggested. No toe cleats.

Age Groups
Starting at age 3, preschoolers are introduced to sports and activities in groups specially designed for children 3 years old to 5 years old. During the classes these little learners will be introduced to new skills and have a lot of fun.
Children in grades 1st - 6th (6 - 11 yo) are welcome to join any class in our kids age group. Our team of coaches and teachers will work with these children developing a solid foundation in their area of interest, all while having fun in a safe place.
Youth classes are open for teens in grades 7th - 12th (12 - 17 yo) . This program gives our oldest age group opportunities to develop and hone their skills, and learn specific skills and techniques in a supportive and engaging setting.
